The Center for Community Shelter & Resilience was created around a simple but essential idea: preparedness starts with people. Through knowledge, education and responsible public information, we aim to strengthen social resilience in a calm, human and trustworthy way.

  • Purpose

Our purpose is to strengthen citizen preparedness, basic understanding of shelter environments and psychological readiness in crisis conditions. We focus on actions with social, educational and research value, and we approach preparedness not through fear, but through knowledge, composure and cooperation.

  • Vision

We envision a society that is better informed, more composed and more resilient. A society in which people have access to simple, understandable and reliable knowledge, so they can respond with greater responsibility and cohesion in difficult conditions.

  • Our approach

Our work is human-centered and practical. We speak clearly. We focus on understanding human behavior, cooperation and psychological readiness. We develop materials and actions that can be understood by everyday people, not only by specialists.

What defines us

  • a calm and clear approach
  • institutional seriousness without distance
  • a strong focus on people and community
  • responsible public information
  • respect for the limits of our role
